More than just an after-school club
A place where kids grow with Jiu-Jitsu
With us, a child doesn’t need to be the fastest or the strongest. All it takes is a willingness to try new things. From their very first somersault to their first competition — if they choose to go for it.
Why BJJ?
Skills on the mat.
Confidence off it.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches kids how to use both their body and mind. No strikes, full contact, and clear rules.
Healthy self-confidence
Kids gradually discover what they are capable of and learn to stay calm even in challenging situations.
Respect and camaraderie
We train in pairs. Cooperation, consideration, and fairness are part of every single class.
Full-body movement
Full-body movement
Coordination, balance, strength, and agility. Naturally, playfulness, and without one-sided strain.
Mind in motion
BJJ is a bit like physical chess. Kids search for solutions and don’t give up after the first setback.
Choose the right coach for your child
A coach is a role model,
not a nanny
Children need good secondary role models. At our gym, we maintain a ratio of one coach for a maximum of 8 kids to ensure no child is left unnoticed. Every coach holds full Level II or Level III coaching certification. We know your kids personally — they are part of our community.
Why Choketopus kids?
Not just classes. A real club.
U nás dítě nemusí být nejrychlejší ani nejsilnější. Stačí chuť zkoušet nové věci. Od prvního kotoulu až po první závody — pokud o ně bude stát.
Growing at their own pace
Once a week just for fun, or four times a week with a desire to compete. Both are fully supported here.
Experiences beyond training
Training camps, day camps, community events, and competitions for those who want to give them a try.
Structure and boundaries
Our instruction has a well-thought-out structure. Every class is planned in advance.
Mixed groups
Older and more experienced students learn to lead, while younger ones develop a sense of teamwork.

Yes, children cannot be forced into sports, so we don’t force parents to pay for the first class either.
Yes. We train on tatami mats, teach techniques gradually, and pair children according to their age, size, and experience. Everything takes place following clear rules under the supervision of multiple coaches.
No, they don’t. Most children start with us from scratch, and we introduce beginners step by step.
Comfortable sportswear, a water bottle, and the desire to give it a try are all they need. You don’t need to buy a gi before the first class.
No. Competitions are an option for children who are interested in them. They can train just as well for fun, exercise, and the community.
You can choose one, two, or up to five classes per week. This allows the child to start gradually and add more later. We recommend at least twice a week so the child can see their own progress.
Definitely. Girls and boys train together, and we pair them up so that the class is safe and beneficial for everyone.
Yes, the first class is free for everyone; there’s no need to pay for classes in advance.
We appreciate it if you let us know about your child’s absence. We do not adjust tuition fees for short-term absences.
During the first week of the school year, we give parents space to observe the classes so they can get an idea of how they run. For the rest of the year, parents do not have access to the classes.
We pair students based on age, weight, and experience.
We promote children roughly once per school year. We take into account not only attendance, but also how the child behaves in class. We have four core pillars that our Kids BJJ program is built on: respect, discipline, responsibility, and focus.
We treat each child individually and try to empathize with their situation. Some children jump right in, while others take longer. We make sure to give every child enough space to adapt to the new group.
