Our kickboxing classes are suitable for everyone — men and women, complete beginners as well as more advanced athletes. Punches and kicks help build strength, improve conditioning, and can also be effectively used for self-defense.
Our coaching team brings experience from competitive fights across various combat sports, years of teaching practice, and stays up to date with the latest trends in both training and coaching. We create a friendly and supportive environment where both recreational athletes and those aiming for competition success can find their place.

Dlouholeta zkusenost, plus mohu hodnotit s vice gymy. Skvely pristup, profesionalne pripravena kazda hodina. Skvely kolektiv. Jsou zde pripraveni na uplne zacatecniky, kdy vas provedou zakladnim pohybem, a tak se nemusi bat i uplny neznalec az po pokrocile. Doporucuji i pro zeny. Na prvni hodinu jsem sla sama a brzy si zvyknete na super lidi. Tedy nepotrebujete mit svoji kamaradku, jako oporu. Neni ceho se tu bat. Rozhodnutim zacit se mi zmenil zivot, v tom dobrem. Hlavni je se nebat a dorazit ❤️
A určitě mrknete na jejich hadry 🤩🥰

Moc oceňuju - časy tréninků, díky kterým můžu chodit. Vedení tréninků (jednotlivé fáze, důraz na cvičení s jinými lidmi, než s jedním a tím samým účastníkem, výborný koučing, díky kterému ze začátečníka rychle opadne tréma a stud, vybavení gymu). A taky praktičnost všeho, co se učíme. Ne jen boj samotný, ale i rady a doporučení o taktice, psychologii obránce/útočníka, právních důsledcích nepřiměřené obrany apod.

Cvičení na různých úrovních, takže každý si najde tu svoji-> ideální jak pro začátečníky, tak pro pokročilé. Super instruktoři; dozvíte se proč a jak (a že já mívám dost otázek) a rovnou si to i vyzkoušíte (nebo se o to alespoň pokusíte 🙂 Ovšem nejvíc jsem překvapena i jejich pedagogickou přípravou tréninku: instruktoři mají dopředu připraven i plán hodiny, což jsem ještě neviděla.

What do I need for training?

For your first class, any comfortable sportswear that allows you to move freely is perfectly fine.
You’ll also need a water bottle and flip-flops for the changing room area.
We’ll be happy to advise you on any additional equipment you might need as you continue training.

What to Expect in Class

Our courses are designed for both men and women of all ages and fitness levels.
In our beginner courses, women make up as much as 50% of the participants.

We continuously develop and refine our training system, and our coaches bring more than a decade of teaching experience.
They train across multiple disciplines, including MMA, BJJ, kickboxing, and wrestling.

We focus on analyzing real-life situations and practicing effective responses.

We will also prepare you to provide effective first aid and give you the essential legal knowledge related to necessary self-defense.

We offer free Friday sparring sessions.

We will help you get into shape, because effective self-defense relies not only on mental resilience but also on physical endurance.

FAQ

Yes, your first class is free.
We’d be happy to welcome you for a no-obligation trial so you can see for yourself whether our training and atmosphere are the right fit for you.

Unfortunately, no.
For system and scheduling reasons, it isn’t possible to switch between different sports under a single membership.
For example, if you have a BJJ membership, it cannot be used for MMA or Krav Maga classes.

Absolutely. Our beginner courses are designed so that anyone can join, regardless of their current fitness level.
We’ll guide you through the fundamental movements step by step, and you’ll gradually adapt to the training intensity at your own pace.

The Multisport card can only be used for entry to the open gym (strength & conditioning area) at Pražačka.
It cannot be used for coached classes or structured courses.

The opening hours of the open gym at Pražačka are the same as the swimming pool facility, where Choketopus Gym is located.
Access is managed by the front desk staff at the main entrance of the building.

Unfortunately, that isn’t possible.
Children are divided into two age-based groups (up to 15 years old), and parents cannot train in the same classes as their children.

Of course, we understand that shift work can make it difficult to stick to a fixed training schedule.
Within the same location, it’s possible to arrange a combination of training times individually with your coach.
We kindly ask that you inform us in advance so we can organize everything accordingly.

For your very first class, you only need comfortable sportswear and ideally flip-flops for moving around the areas outside the tatami.
We’ll advise you on what equipment you’ll need for future training sessions and explain everything step by step.
All training apparel and essential gear can be found in our online shop.

Our top priority is structured training and safety.
That’s why we offer dedicated beginner courses, where complete newcomers learn fundamental movement skills and technical basics step by step — also with injury prevention in mind.
Completing the beginner course is always the better option, and we strongly recommend it to anyone without prior experience in martial arts.
