Reviews

Osobně oceňuju taky důraz na čistotu tatami, což rozhodně není ve všech gymech samozřejmost, ale být by mělo.
Vřele doporučuji

Skvělá atmosféra, perfektní výklad technik, přátelský kolektiv.
FAQ
Beginner classes last 60 minutes, while advanced classes run for 75 minutes.
Beginner sessions start with movement preparation and BJJ-specific conditioning. We understand that after a full day at the office or behind the wheel, you can’t go all out right away.
This is followed by the technical part of the class and drills.
There is no free sparring in beginner classes — sparring is reserved for advanced and competition BJJ classes.

In beginner training, we place emphasis on preparing the body for movement.
Part of each class is dedicated to resets, mobility, and building basic strength.
However, it is still a BJJ class, so we also focus on learning techniques and principles through drills and specific games designed to improve particular skills.
There is no free sparring in the beginner classes.
Our goal is to create sessions for people who want to train BJJ while minimizing the risk of injury for various reasons (age, previous injuries, insufficient physical preparation, energy management, and others).
For your first class, shorts or leggings and a fitted T-shirt are sufficient — ideally a compression shirt (rashguard).
You should also bring a water bottle, a towel, and flip-flops.
Later on, a mouthguard will be useful, and for BJJ Gi classes you will need a kimono (Gi) and a white belt. We’ll of course be happy to help you with choosing the right gear.
You can also purchase equipment in our e-shop. www.choketopus.com.
We offer the following options:
- Your first class is free.
- 1900 CZK / month – access to any two training sessions per week
- 2600 CZK / month – unlimited training sessions per month
- 300 CZK – single entry to any class
Payments are due on a calendar-month basis.

We offer dedicated beginner classes every day for complete newcomers.
In these sessions, you’ll learn the fundamental movements and core principles of BJJ. More importantly, we’ll show you how to train consistently and safely, with a strong focus on long-term health and injury prevention.
After your free introductory class, you can choose the location and training times that suit you best.
Gi refers to the traditional kimono worn in BJJ training.
NoGi describes the variation of BJJ practiced without the kimono, often also referred to as grappling or submission wrestling.
Within the BJJ community, Gi and NoGi represent the two main branches of the sport. They differ in terms of uniform and certain rules, but the core principles and the majority of techniques remain the same in both formats.
